Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing day and are staying safe. This week I actually did pretty decent with my reading this week. I finally finished one book I’ve been reading for a few weeks now and read a whole book so I can finally say that I finally finished some books this month.

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on A World of Words. And is basically where we all get together to share:

  • What we have recently read
  • What we are currently reading
  • And what we plan to read next

What I Read Recently

I finally finished Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari , this was such an interesting read and spoke about a lot of things that I had never really thought of before.

I picked up I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy this week, which just could not put down. This was an incredibly well written memoir.

This last book I sadly DNFed, this was one of my most anticipated reads of this year and it started off so strong. I loved the beginning of it and the writing style but I just could not stay engaged with it. I definitely want to pick this up again in the future but right now it’s just not for me.

What I Am Currently Reading

First off I’m still reading Babel with Mani from Mani’s Book Corner, really enjoying this one. R. F. Kuang is such an engaging storyteller.

I’m also still reading The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan. I am enjoying this one but it’s also one that I will pick up read a few chapters of put it down and then forget about it for like a week or two before remembering I’m supposed to be reading it and pick it up again.

What I Plan To Read Next

Next I really want to start my Throne of Glass reread before I have to return the book to the library.

How is everyone’s week going? What have you been reading?
