Hi everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing day and are staying safe. So far this year I have been focusing on my favourite books of 2022 but I also watched a lot of really good movies and shows this year that I feel also deserve to be mentioned.
Movies
Black Panther Wakanda Forever, I honestly wasn’t sure how they were going to pull off this movie and went into it without even seeing the trailer. But they absolutely nailed it, the acting is phenomenal, the story so well done and it did not feel as if it was as long as it was.
The Menu, this movie had such an interesting premise and they did a really good job at executing the story.
Don’t Worry Darling, this movie had me confused pretty much the whole way through. But I was intrigued enough to keep watching, and again they did a really good job with it.
TV Shows
Wednesday, I adore the Addams Family movies and spent my teenage years wanting to be Wednesday and so when I found out they were not only bringing out a tv show focused on her but that one of my favourite directors Tim Burton would be involved, I knew I was going to love it and I was not disappointed.
Heartstopper, this was everything I was hoping it would be. It was so well done and the actors did a phenomenal job with these characters.

I agree with everything you said! I haven’t seen The Menu, yet, but it’s on my list and I’m really curious to see what it is about exactly because I don’t really know! hahah
If you enjoyed Heartstopper, you should check out Young Royals if you haven’t already! It’s a bit darker I would say but very good!

I would definitely recommend The Menu and I went in not knowing much about it as well which I thought actually added to the experience.
I haven’t seen Young Royals but I will definitely add it to my list thank you 😊

I loved Wednesday and Heartstopper so much! I’ve not seen any of the films you posted about but am definitely going to be watching Wakanda Forever when it arrives on Disney+ next month!
