Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday

Hi everyone I hope you are all having an amazing day and are staying safe. So as you know every week Wednesday comes around and everyone posts updates on how their week has been and what they have been reading, and for some unknown reason I’ve never gotten involved. So I have decided this week to give it a try and see if this is a post that I want to do more regularly on my blog as I love reading everyone else’s.

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on A World of Words. And is basically where we all get together to share:

  1. What we have recently read?
  2. What we are currently reading?
  3. What we plan to read next?

What I have Recently Read

So if you have seen my previous post, you will know that I recently went to the library and picked up a whole load of books and so far I have read 2 of them

First I picked up Love Bingo by Tee Franklin. This was such a heartwarming story about second chance love that may have left me a little teary eyed at the end.

The second one I picked up was My Brother’s Husband by Gengoroh Tagame. This was another heartwarming read that I loved and immediately requested the second volume of.

What I’m Currently Reading

After months of saying I was going to pick up House in the Cerulean Sea by T. J. Klune I finally have and, what will come as no supride to those who have read it, I’ve falling completely in love with this story and these characters. Im only a few chapters away from finishing it and I don’t want it to end.

What I Plan on Reading Next

The two books that I plan on picking up next are When the Moon was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore and The Wall Street Reader by The New York Public Library.

How has your week been?? What have you been reading and loving recently??
