The Book Club Tag

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing day and staying safe. So today I am here with the last tag in my backlog and it feels good to finally know that I am up to date with all of these. Knowing me that won’t last long but I’m going to bask in the feeling of accomplishment while I can. I was tagged by the wonderful Becca of Book It With Becca to take part in the book club tag, if you haven’t checked out her blog then I highly recommend that you do. I’ve never been apart of a book club but I’ve always wanted to join one and this tag looks fun regardless.

Rules

  • Answer the tag (prompts below) on the platform of your choice (blog, booktube, twitter, anything goes!): If you’re part of a book club, yourself, you can answer with the books you’ve read with them — or you can freestyle it with whatever book fits the question! Or with a specific character from a book who matches the prompt. Really, however you want to do it!
  • Link to the original post and give me a pingback or comment below, so I can see your answers.
  • Tag friends! They can be fellow book club members or simply bookish friends who make your day a little brighter.
  • The most important rule: Have fun!

The Fearless Readerreads everything, constantly, and probably started the book club, not realizing how much work it would be to keep everyone on-track talk about it

I feel like Aelin is trying to juggle a lot of very intricate plans in this series and if even one goes wrong her whole world will come tumbling down.

The Academictries to elevate the conversation and suggest Serious Books but is always stymied by the rest of the group (generally doesn’t mind)

The Cone Gathers is a very love it or hate it kind of book and I honestly don’t think it could care less what category you fall into.

The Joyridernever knows what book the club is reading but happily shouts encouragement and brings refreshments

This just feels 100% Eve Brown.

The Agent of Chaosjust what it sounds like: enjoys stirring things up and dropping chaos bombs before disappearing in a cloud of smoke

Most of the characters in this one could be described using the word chaos and Matthias would be the only one complaining about it.

The Mom — is very concerned with the emotional and physical health of the rest of the group and of the characters in the books

I really struggled with this one so went with a very character focused read.

The Lovable GhoulMostly harmless but likes to stand in the corner muttering — we pretend it’s normal

I feel this fits this one well it’s a darker read it’s relatively harmless.
