Hi everyone, I hope you have all had and amazing July and are staying safe. To be honest I’ve been a bit all over the place this month. However I have spent some time away which was great just to be in a different environment. I was a bit anxious travelling at the moment however thankful most people that I saw were sticking with wearing masks. I also got to see my very first West End show the cast of Heather’s were truly amazing and it was a great experience.
Books
So this month hasn’t been the greatest reading wise, I managed to read 2 books which to be honest was better than I was expecting and I DNFed 1 book.

The book I DNFed was Threadneedle by Cari Thomas. I was lucky enough to be given an eARC of this book and was really excited to pick it up as it sounds like something I would love but unfortunately I just couldn’t get into it. I found myself really bored with it. Nothing interested me or stood out to me.

My favourite read of this month was A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer. I have been loving this Trilogy and was not disappointed with this one. Will say the ending is very open ended which I wasnt the biggest fan of. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars.

Lastly I picked up Paris By Starlight by Robert Dinsdale. This is such a beautifully written book and I adore the magic and fairytale aspects, however I do feel it was too long, the pacing is really slow which does at times male it more difficult to read. I gave this 3 out if 5 stars.
Other
I finished the Loki TV show this month and while I enjoyed it overall I felt the last episode was a bit of a let down. I get that they were setting it up for a series 2 but I still would have liked a bit more of a resolution.

I also watched the Fear Street Trilogy this month and loved them. I found the way that they did it with each of the three parts going back in time really interesting and the ending was not what I was expecting in the perfect way. Definitely worth the watch if you are a horror fan.

I’m currently making my way through Loki and really enjoying it but it does seem like many were left a bit meh with the wrap up of this first season. I’m keeping this in mind as I binge watch today, also Fear Street keeps tempting me to watch but I’m such an easy scare that It’ll have to wait until I have either my sister or bf over for support haha! Thank you for including my blog in your wrap-up love! π

I totally agree about Loki. He’s my favorite of them all and I was so pumped for this series. I do wish we would have gotten more answers. Also, I’m still thinking I loved WandaVision more. I’m so sad to say that because I LOVE Loki. I just felt like we got a complete story with hers and got a peek at the set up.
