Spring Cleaning Tag

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing day and are staying safe. I know that we are almost in summer but I’m giving this tag ago anyway. Thank you to The Organatan Librarian for the tag and you should all go follow them if you aren’t already.

THE STRUGGLE OF GETTING STARTED: A BOOK/BOOK SERIES THAT YOU HAVE STRUGGLED TO BEGIN BECAUSE OF ITS SIZE.

I think I have mentioned this in a previous tag but I have to go with The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. I really want to pick this up but the length of the series and of each book is very intimidating.

CLEANING OUT THE CLOSET: A BOOK AND/OR BOOK SERIES YOU WANT TO UNHAUL.

I plan on unhauling is The Girl and the Stars by Mark Lawrence. I didn’t hate this when I picked it up but didnt love it and since then the story just hasn’t stuck with me and honestly I have no intention of reading the rest of the series.

OPENING WINDOWS AND LETTING FRESH AIR IN: A BOOK THAT WAS REFRESHING.

I feel like I mention Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery quite a lot but it just such a cute read that will definitely leave you feeling refreshed.

WASHING OUT SHEET STAINS: A BOOK YOU WISH YOU COULD REWRITE A CERTAIN SCENE IN.

I’m sure there are many but I can’t think of any off the top of my head.

THROWING OUT UNNECESSARY KNICK-KNACKS: A BOOK IN A SERIES THAT YOU DIDN’T FEEL WAS NECESSARY.

A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. To be honest while I didn’t hate this I definitely don’t feel that we needed it as it really doesn’t add anything to the series.

POLISHING THE DOORKNOBS: A BOOK THAT HAD A CLEAN FINISH.

Honestly I really enjoyed the ending of Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas.

REACHING TO DUST THE FAN: A BOOK THAT TRIED TOO HARD TO RELAY A CERTAIN MESSAGE.

I really enjoyed The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë but it was very pushy on the religious morals throughout.

THE TIRING YET SATISFYING FINISH OF SPRING CLEANING: A BOOK SERIES THAT WAS TIRING YET SATISFYING TO GET THROUGH.

The Gentleman Basard series by Scott Lynch is one I would call tiring as while I’m loving it, it’s taking me a while to get through it.

LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT SPRING: TAG 4 PEOPLE YOU WANT TO DO THIS TAG.

Since spring is pretty much over I’m not going to tag anyone however if you feel like taking part then count yourself as tagged.
