Books I want to read but don’t want to read

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing day and are all staying safe. Today I’m here with a tag that was a lot harder to complete than I was expecting. I was tagged by the brilliant The Orangutan Librarian who you should all check put if you haven’t already as her posts are so interesting and well thought out.

Rules:

  • Link back to the original tag (this post, and Jami!).
  • Complete the questions with books you want to have read but don’t want to read.
  • Tag some people at the end to do the tag next.

A book that you feel you need to read because everyone talks about it

City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty.

A book that’s really long

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo.

A book you’ve owned / had on your TBR for too long

The Luxe by Anna Godbersen.

A book that intimidates you

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson.

A book that you think might be slow

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.

A book you need to be in the right mood for

The Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch.

A book you’re unsure if you will like

Tasha Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee.

  1. Ooh, thanks for the tag! Loved reading your answers and so many of them I relate to as well! I think A Tale of Two Cities is gonna be pretty slow (and it honestly also intimidates me a *wee* bit). Way of Kings is also one of the books that intimidate me and makes me wonder when I’ll ever read it LOL 🥲
