Favourite Books of 2020

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing day and staying safe. I’m a bit late with this post but when am I ever on time with these kind of posts. Anyway I read some amazing books this year and am excited to share them with you.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. This was a great way to start off my reading year. Absolutely loved the story and characters and definitely made up for my disappointment over Shadow and Bone.

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman. This is such an adorable graphic novel series, I love Nick and Charlie and looking forward to Volume 4 this year.

Stain by A.G. Howard. I love A.G. Howard’s writing and how she does an amazing job if bringing the story to life. I also live for the Gothic undertones in her novels.

We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal. I feel in love with everything about this novel, such an intricate world and amazing characters and I am completely invested in the romance.

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare. I really don’t think there is must to say about this book other than that Cassandra Clare just draws me in to each and everyone of her books and creates the best cast of characters.

Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo. I completely feel in love with Elizabeth Acevedo from this book and plan on reading everything she writes. It’s such a heartwarming and heartbreaking read.

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. This was by far my favourite read of the year. This book exceed all expectations was everything I didn’t know I needed from the creepy atmosphere, the characters and the overall message of the book.
