Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great day. It’s been a while since I last posted anything and I’m sorry for being so absent the past few weeks, but I will get more into that in my next post. I was tagged by Margaret from Weird Zeal to take part in the Women’s History Month Reading Challenge.
My TBR for this month is pretty short as sadly I just do not have the time to read much at the moment.
- Classic – Heidi by Johanna Spyri
- Sci-fi or fantasy – Do You Dream of Tera-Two by Temi Oh
- Queer main character – Inkmistress by Audrey Coulthurst
- Multiple female POVs – Furyborn by Clare Legrand
If I mange to read more than this I will be really happy but at the moment this is all I can commit to.
As well as the reading aspect there is also a blogging aspect to this challenge and each Monday I will be releasing a post that will be focused on books by and about women and today’s prompt is “Female Characters that Inspire Me?”
- Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling.
- Cress Darnel from The Lunar Chronicles Marissa Meyer.
- Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater.
- Isabelle Lightwood from The Mortal Instruments By Cassandra Clare.
- Irene from Bronze Rebellion by L.C. Perry.
- Hermione Granger form Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling.
- Jane Eyre from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
- Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
- Nona Grey from Book of the Ancestor by Mark Lawrence.
- Starr Carter from The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.
Which female characters inspire you the most?
So many great characters! π Many of these are ones that I love as well – Luna and Blue and Jane Eyre and Elizabeth and more! β€οΈ So glad that you’re joining in, and good luck with your reading!

This is such a great reading challenge. I wish I knew about it before I made my TBR. I can think of some books I want to read that fit this category. Hopefully I remember for next year. I hope you enjoy all the books you’re reading for the challenges!
