Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the end of 2018. I thought I would finish off the year with a tag and I was tagged for the Coffee Book Tag by Melanie from Mel To The Any, who is one of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of meeting and if you’re not all ready following her then I highly recommend that you do so.
BLACK COFFEE – a series that is tough to get into but has hardcore fans
I’m stealing Melanie’s answer for this as Shiver by Tahereh Mafi has a very loyal fanbase but is one that I just could not get into.
PEPPERMINT MOCHA – a book that gets more popular during the festive season
I feel like A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is very popular at this time of year and one that sadly I still haven’t picked up.
HOT CHOCOLATE – a favourite childhood book
The magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton. My gran use to read this to me whenever I stayed at hers when I was a kid and I completely feel in love with the story and characters.
DOUBLE SHOT OF ESPRESSO – a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish
Obsidian Fragrance by L.C. Perry. This was the final book on the Bronze Rebellion series and was action packed from the beginning also one of my favourite finales to a series.
STARBUCKS – a book you see everywhere
The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. So many people I know love this and my sister is always going on about the series, sadly it’s just one that I have no interest in reading.
THAT HIPSTER COFFEE SHOP – a book by an indie author
Gold Shadow by L.C. Perry.
OOPS, I ACCIDENTALLY GOT DECAF – a book you were expecting more from
To kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. Sadly this books just did not meet my expectations.
THE PERFECT BLEND – a book or series that was both bitter and sweet, but ultimately satisfying
Passenger Duology by Alexandra Bracken.
GREEN TEA – a book or series that is quietly beautiful
Circe by Madeline Miller. This was such a beautiful story and the writing is so lyrical.
CHAI LATTE – a book or series that makes you dream of far off places
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor.
EARL GREY – favourite classic
Again I’m copying Melanie with Jane Eyre as I have been completely in love with this book for years.
Thanks for tagging me! This looks like such a fun one and I really liked all your answers π I can’t wait to read Circe and see what all the hype is about, and you couldn’t have picked a better book for the one that makes you dream! π
