Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having an amazing day. Before I get on with this post I want to apologise for my recent hiatus, ever since I came home from America I have had no internet access (thankfully it’s finally up and running) on top of this I have been really sick for the past few weeks.
Books
I read 5 books this month and DNFed 1.
The fist book I read was The Queens of Innis Lear by Tessa Gratton. I enjoyed the premise of this story and the characters but it was so slow paced and took me forever to get through. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. Review to come.
Next I read Sea Queen by Sarah Herring. I really enjoyed this book and gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Review here.
The third book I read this month was The Song of the Faerie Prince by Tay Laroi. It didn’t have the best plot I’ve ever read but I liked the main characters and loved how diverse it was. I gave this 3.5 stars. Review here.
The next book I read was Empire of Silence by Christopher Ruocchio. This was definitely my favourite read of the month and I gave it 4 out of five stars. Review to come.
Lost Gods by Micah Yongo was the only book I DNFed this month as It was extremely slow paced and I couldn’t connect with any of the characters.
The last book I read was Claire’s Last Secret by Marty Ambrose. This was a fun historical read and I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. Review to come.
