The X-Files Book Tag

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having an amazing day. I was tagged to do the X-Files Book Tag by the both Mandy over at Book Princess Reviews and LaRonda from Flying Paperbacks, both ladies have amazing blogs and you should go check them out if you haven’t already.                                                                                                            While I have never seen the X-Files this was still a really fun tag to do.

The Rules

  • Take out your fake FBI badge and answer the questions.
  • You can link back to the creator Book Princess Reviews (link above).
  • Keep the alien love alive possibly and tag any and all X-Files fans you know…or just other people – either or?

Image result for fox mulderFox Murder – Fox is known to have some “out there” beliefs, so name a book that you believe in despite everyone/ratings/reviews tell you perhaps isn’t that great

For this I’m going to go with Roseblood by A. G. Howard as it has a lot of mixed reviews but I loved it.

Dana Scully – Just like the resident FBI sceptic, name a book that you’re sceptical of (because of hype, sketchy cover, etc.)

For this I have to go with any V. E. Schwab book as they are so hyped up that it kinda scares me and puts me off picking up any of them.

I Want to Believe – What book do you believe, just like the famous tagline, will be your next 5 star/crown read off of your TBR?

A book I feel will be my next 5 star read is Darksoul by Anna Stephens the sequel to Godblind. I adored Godblind when I read it a few months ago so have high hopes for this one.

Aliens – Name a book that on your TBR that is from a genre that seems out from another book world to you but still sounds super good?

Beyond the Dark Veil: Post Mortem & Mourning Photography from the Thanatos Archive is one of the only books on my to read shelf that I wouldn’t normally pick up but it just sounds really interesting.

The Lone Gunmen – Name a book that comes along with an epic team just like these three hacking men?

A book with an epic team would be Shadow Gold by L. C. Perry.

Walter Skinner – Skinner is the boss that forever teeters on the edge of good and evil, so name a conflicting character for you (whether the character is just conflicted or you’re conflicted about your feelings for them)

A character I have conflicted feelings over is Nesta from the Acotar series by Sarah J. Maas.

Cancer Man/Cigarette Smoking Man – Name the worst book villain you can think of just like this smoking fiend who refuses to stay dead

A villain I really hate would be the King of Adarlan from the Throne of glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

  1. Ooooooh, thank you so much for doing it, Michaela! I loved reading your answers! They were so much fun. 😀 I definitely agree that Nesta is definitely a very conflicted and conflicting character. Still can’t figure out what I make of her. I also really enjoyed Roseblood when I see a lot of people hating on it. Also, Beyond the Dark Veil does sound pretty cool! Wonderful answers, as always, Michaela, and thank you for doing the tag!! 🙂

    1. Your welcome it was a great tag. Hopefully I’ll be able to work out my feelings for Nesta better in the next book. I really loved Roseblood and was surprised to see son many people didn’t enjoy it. Beyond the Darkest Veil sounds quite morbid but also fascinating. Thank you 😀😀
