Wonder Woman Book Vs Narnia Book Tag

Hi everyone, I hope your all having an amazing day. I’m officially finished university just have a few assessments due and placement then I’m finished second year.

I was tagged by Lo and Ash over at Windowsill Books. They are both lovely and write amazing posts so you should all go and follow them.

Narnia – A magical world you would like to visit?

I would love to visit The Night Circus. I adored this book world and would love to spend a night at this circus as it would be so magical and even more so if I visited on October 31st.                                                                                        31114367

Fantasy Island – A book setting you want to escape to?

For this one I’m going to steal Ash and Lo’s answer as who wouldn’t want to escape to the Court of Dreams.

Winner: Narnia

I would happily give up the opportunity to live in the Night Court to spend just one night at the Night Circus.

Caspian – A character with regal qualities?

Princess Irene from the Gold Shadow series by L. C. Perry.

Wonder Woman – Your favourite badass female book character?

For this I’ll got with Mia from Nevernight by Jay Kristoff as she is pretty brutal and not someone I would ever want to cross.

Winner: Wonder Woman

As I said above I would not want to cross Mia which is why she is the winner.

I wasn’t that keen on Irene in the first book but she really grows on me in the second book and when we find out what she is willing to do to protect her people.

The Magician’s Nephew – A book you think is underrated?

The Demon Trapper series by Jana Oliver. I love this series but I have yet to see anyone talking about it.

London – A hyped book that let you down?

To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. I was really looking forward to this book as the premise sounds amazing but I didn’t enjoy the way it was executed.

Winner: Narnia

Of course I’m going to choose a book I love over one I was disappointed with.

The Horse and His Boy – A book you picked up without knowing what it was about?

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. All I knew about this book was that it featured a circus that opened at night and I think going in to this book blind made me enjoy the experience of reading it even more.

Lasso of Truth – A book you hated?

The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski. I just really did not enjoy this book.

Winner: Narnia

Again like the last one I’m not going to pick a book I didn’t like over one I loved.

The Last Battle – A perfect ending to a series you love?

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. While this ending was heart breaking I also loved it.

Steve Trevor – A book that has a beautiful cover and a great story (i.e. great personality)?

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. The cover of this book is gorgeous and the story is amazing.

Winner: Narnia

While Nevernight has one of the prettiest covers I’ve ever seen it had no chance when paired up against Clockwork Princess.

The Silver Chair – A book you didn’t expect to love (…as much as you did)?

The Hunger Games by Susan Collins. I almost didn’t pick this book up but am so glad that I did as the series is now one of my favourites.

Wonder Woman’s Shield – A book so sad you need a shield?

Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo. This may be a really short book but it is so emotional and by the time I get to the end of the first page I’m crying.

Winner: Wonder Woman

This was a really hard one as I adore both books but I have to pick Private Peaceful.

Eustace Scrubb – A character who grew on you?

For this one I have to go with Irene from the Shadow Gold series by L. C. Perry again as I wasn’t the biggest fan of her in the first book but loved her in the second.

Ares – A villain that is scary, but you can’t seem to hate?

For this I’m going to pick Levana from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. She was one messed up villain but at the same time I kinda liked her especially after reading from her point of view in Fairest.

Winner: Narnia

I have to go with Irene this time as even though I wasn’t that keen on her in the first book she really grew on me in the second when we find out what she is willing to do to protect her people.

The Pevensies – A sibling-hood or friendship you’d love to be a part of?

This is a no brainer I have to go with Blue and her Raven Boys from the Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. Who doesn’t want to be apart of this amazing gang.

The Amazons – A book that you wish had more/better LGBT+ representation?

Again I’m going to copy Ash and Lo’s answer and go with A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas. While I enjoyed this book I wasn’t happy with the way a certain characters storyline was taken and believe that no representation was better than what we were given. Hopefully she will be able to improve on this in the nest books.

Winner: Narnia

Again it’s pretty obvious why this one won.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – A classic that you love?

Jane Eyre by charlotte Bronte. This was one of the first classics I’ve read and I completely fell in love with it and have read it several times over the years.

Prince Caspian – A sequel that you loved?

Emerald Dream by L. C. Perry. I this is the sequel to Gold Shadow which I read recently and adored. This book has some of the best character development that I have read.

Winner: Narnia

This has been one of the hardest so far as I love both of these books but in the end I have to go with Jane Eyre as I have loved this book for years.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader – A quest you’d like to be a part of?

Again I’m going to pick the Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater as who wouldn’t want to join these amazing characters on their quest to find the lost Welsh King Glendower.

The Amazons, Part II* – A supernatural team you’d like to be a part of?

Originally I thought of the Shadowhunters but changed my mind as their superior, stick-up-their-bum attitude really annoys me. So instead I’m going to cheat a little and say the Vampire Diaries as I’m watching the show as I write this and really want to be a part of their crew.

Winner: Narnia

This is another tricky one but again I have to go with The Raven Cycle.

Mr Tumnus – Your favourite mystical creature?

The Fey. I think Faeries are so fascinating and I love reading about them.

Bracelets of Submission* – Your favourite magical item?

A wand. Who doesn’t want a wand like the ones in Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling

Winner: Narnia

While I would love a wand in the end my adoration for all things Fey wins.

The Wardrobe – Your favourite hideout/place to read?

Definitely my bed.

Justice League – What superhero book friends do you tag?

Winner: Wonder Woman

Obviously these lovely bloggers win.

Narnia won by a landslide with 9 points with Wonder Woman only getting 3.

We loved the movie with Felicity Jones too! It was adorable so we highly recommend the movie if you haven’t seen it yet!
