TV and Movie Wrap Up

While I love books, I also love movies and TV shows. So I thought I would start writing a monthly wrap up expressing my love or hate for the movies and shows I watched that month.

TV Shows

This month I finally watched the newest season of Doctor Who and it was amazing as usual. I really loved Bill as the new companion and as usual this season pulled on my heart strings. I really like Peter Capaldi (though Matt Smith will always be my favourite) as the Doctor and will miss him but am excited to see Jodie Whittaker as the first female doctor. I have also now started rewatching the series from the nineth Doctor onwards and am just about to start the 5th season.

I also watched the newest season of Orange is the new Black. This is one of my favourite shows and I watched the new season in two days as its just so addicting.

Movies

The fist movie I saw this month was Spider-Man Homecoming. Spider-Man is my all time favourite superhero (which is ironic as I’m terrified of spiders) and I was so happy when I found out he was joining the Avengers Universe. I loved Tom Holland as Spider-Man in Civil War and even more in this movie. I though this was a lot better than the last remake and the fact the Iron Man (my second favourite superhero) was in it made it even better.

I finally got round to watching Ant Man this month. Its not my favourite Marvel movie and it started off a bit slow. It got a lot better as it went on and I’m looking forward to watching the next one when it comes out.
